Our Covenant with New Members

We know that God does not add a new member to Stonegate by accident. He wants to do something through each new person to make this body more complete. As a church body we covenant with new members to open our lives to them to let God work in our lives through each new member. In so doing, we recognize that none of us knows what this new member may go through in the days to come. God may have added them to our body because He knew they were going to need our ministry. We covenant to let God flow through us to help them become all God wants them to be.

Our oral commitment

We want you to know that we are committed to you.

You will never knowingly suffer at our hands.

We’ll never say or do  anything knowingly to hurt you.

We will always, in every circumstance, seek to help you and support you.

If you are down and we can lift you up, we’ll do that.

Anything we have that you need, we’ll share it with you, and if need be, we’ll give it to you.

No matter what we find out about you, and no matter what happens in the future, either good or bad, our commitment to you will never change.

 And there’s nothing you can do about it.

You don’t have to respond. We love you, and that’s what it means.
