Newcomer's Class

The Newcomer's Class is an eight-week topical class that covers Stonegate's beliefs on the following topics. Because it is a topical class, newcomers can enter at any point and attend until all topics have been covered.

Taught by Elder Wayne Hammermeister, the class goes to the Bible for authority and encourages discussion in covering the following topics:

Ø      The Bible – The inspired word of God

Ø      Jesus Christ – Who He is and what He did for us

Ø      The Ordinances – Baptism and the Lord's Supper

Ø      Church Discipline – Our responsibilities.

Ø      The Elder-Lead Church – How an elder-lead church works

Ø      Your Spiritual Gifts – How to identify and use them
